Default Here We Go Again, Same Ole Stuff Again....

Its Wednesday @ 13:26 hours. Been out Saturday, Monday, yesterday and this morning. Have seen a total of 3 deer during this time. Last night when I was walking home from Stand #2 I saw 2 deer at the scrape in the pines. Too far off for a shot and they stood there watching me to make sure I didn't try anything funny. Stands #1 and #2 have been totally unproductive so far. #3 in the Oak grove is quiet but with the winds so far, not a good place to sit as the winds would be blowing over my back into the grove the whole time. So this morning after being skunked again, I went and got my last stand (a climber) and put it up in a walnut tree 25 yards south of the pine scrape. I am going to get suited up at 14:00 hours and walk down there. As I walk past the scrape, I'm going to spray a little Tinks and a little "Doe Pee's" on the edge of the scrape and get in the stand. The winds are out of the West-North-West at 20 - 30 mph. The stand is 22' in the air and hopefully Mr Buck will make an appearance before the sun sets. The monster is bedding on the West side of the big pond and so far there is no approach that would not tell him I'm coming. Got two more days of leave before it's back to the wild blue yonder. If it doesn't happen this week, can't hunt again until Veteran's day. Does all this typing help me get my deer any sooner? No. But it sure feels good to get it out of my system. After all the crap slinging I've done on this forum, it's not wise to post this, but I get what I deserve. Right MOBOW?

Good luck. This wind sure makes it a challenge, but I'm headed out too.

Maybe you could just "Order" the buck to show up??

There's magic in the air today ...someone tags a 140+ brute tonight!

Won't be me...I'll be kid watching..so it may as well be you!

Some days it all just comes together. Today could be that day. Or tomorrow. Or the next day. Regardless, have fun getting some fresh air and gettin' schooled by them deer. They are harsh teachers, ain't they? All kidding aside, I hope today is your day!
