I had some pretty good luck this weekend. I got to break in my Ross Cardiac and devirginise it on two does and a turkey. I dont have any pictures of the does. I shot one at 37yards and the otherone at 30 yards. The doe that was 30 yards wasfacing straight at me and she ducked and spun at the shot. The arrow hit her high in the shoulder blew through the spine and stoped just under the hide infront of the offside ham. Now needless to say I was impressed with the penetration and the G5 striker only had a couple of nicks on the blades other than that it looked brand new. Not too shabby for going through the spine. The turkey has a 7.5 inch beard and 1inch spurs. I shot him at 38yards and he only went 12yards before droping.

were you in a treestand when you shot the bird?? just curious...i dont care how still i sit, i always seem to get picked off when im in a tree. most likely going to take the bow out saturday morning before i grab the shotgun. i will most likely only really have that day to hunt...dont wanna mess around with getting busted with the bow. i got 1 spot i know they roost and use...i will be there saturday morning..(and to watch the bucks chase the does through there...even though i wont shoot a doe there and cant shoot another buck)

WAY TO GO MAN!!!!!!

I was in a treestand mauser. I had about 25 to 30 hens roosted all around me, I actualy walked right underneath them to get to my stand. I had five gobblers come from the ridge behind me and I was able to get my bow and get draw as they were coming up the ridge I was one. It helped that it was some pretty thick stuff and I got lucky one of them stepped into a hole I could shoot through.
