Why in the world would that cause you to not buy a Bowtech?

They are protecting their dealers territories and even future dealers but still allowing those that may not have a dealer close to them to get a bowtech with out having to drive for hours.

IMO this is a great idea and more bow companies should do this for their customers.

there is nothing wrong with used but i think that the technology has made new bows better then a used one. I also really want the EQ for target and 3-d if i find a league. I think that it would be hard to find a bow that is not in camo.

a one year old EQ isn't going to be any different than a new one... and I'd bet real money that the 06 model is going to be no different than the 08 either... in fact i'd make a small wager that the EQ hasn't changed since it was introduced... if you don't like camo colors, paint it, BFD!! it'll end up being cheaper and you won't have to go to a shop to get it... improvise, adapt, overcome...
