Bummer! I have had that happen and it sucks. I have been learning how to can stuff this year. We use our freezer a bunch but now that we have started canning we'll not need it for as much stuff. You can can meat. Cut it into chunks and can the chunks using broth made from the bones. Perfect forpreserving meat for chili or stew or anything using chunks or shreds etc.. Canning is much, much easier than you might think.

Hey uh Jeff?? Before your freezer goes out too.........Why not pack that sherbert in some dry ice and send it my way.....Sure would hate to see that go bad.....

I lost half a deer, half a pig, and a dozen ducks once!!! I cried that day!!The freezer was only a year old too!! Now, if I haven't been in the freezer in a few days, I have a tendency to check on it!!
I learned that lesson the hard way!!!

At least it was the garage and all the water went there instead of in the house.I don't think it will be long to replace the meat, proablly not as long as to replace the freezer
