That is wonderful!!!!! Share the experience. What a memory. Just imagine what your friend thinks!!!!!! You're a giving, unselfish person. Deer belong to no one and to everyone. sharing the hunt and the experience is what it's all about. A big set of antlers is a bonus, in my book!!!

As promised, here are some pictures of the buck that I took yesterday evening from my Double Bull blind. He came in about 10 minutes before shooting hours were over and gave me a nice 20 yard broadside shot. I double lunged him and believe it or not, he only went about 30 yards! Needless to say he was very easy to track. You can see my blind in the background.
After screwing things up last season, and then letting my buddy take his first buck, I FINALLY got a nice whitetail buck out of my ground blind! Told you there were bigger bucks on the property!

No kidding! I'm really, really, really hoping I made the right decision.
In all seriousness,I've shot several good bucks, both whitetails and muleys, with a bow. The best one is my avatar. Up tolast night,my buddy hadn't been that lucky. So I feel that it was the right thing to do.

Pass on the congrats. And at least your buddy has one, no gaurantee on the other two.
