do you want more speed or knock down power ?

With my 85gr I will get pass thrus... If I go heavier I won't get a pass through..

46lbs - axis 340's - 85 gr tip --- 22 yards shot my doe thru and thru.. What more would you need?

Not real sure of your reasoning. Is that because your bow will be out of tune if you go with a heavier head?

I'd recommend a weight set or maybe a gym membership.

Whem i was 12 my first bow(Martin Compound) was set at 40lbs. I was shooting 125 grain bear broadheads. I also used Satelite Titanstoo, all of these are cut on contact broadheads, not the bullet point stuff! I zinged right on through almost all me deer and bearwithout a problem. Just make sure there good and sharp.
