Here's a contest for you guys.

Take a kid under the age of 17 out hunting this year and do 2 things.
Post it here and send me a picture to post on my website www.youthoutside.org
We'll put all the entries into a drawing for two (2) $25.00 gift certificates to your choice of Cabelas, Bass Pro, or Wal Mart.
(One for the adult and one for the kid);)

Let's start today and go until Feb 1st.

And it's ANY game and ANY weapon! Since it's bow season most everywhere I'm posting here hoping ya'll will start today. Harvest of an animal is not necessary!

I love the idea! Sounds very cool,
My son will be out hunting for the first time this weekend.
It will be opening day of gun season here in GA, He`s 12 yrs old and pumped!.
I will take a few pics and send them in.
I can`t wait to see all the kids and there big smiles good luck to all.;)

this is a GREAT idea.

Do I qualify if I helped my 14 year old brother take his first archery deer on the 13th? I know it is before NOW. Of course, I will be continueing takinghim as i will be trying to get him on a big buck...I have taught him as much as possible in the past year, a year ago he did not even know how to shoot a bow...:)I couldnt be prouder....course i have pics.

I take my boys ...but do our own kids count?

I've taken several students in the past.. scouting, shed hunting, turkey, deer, elk, bear .. etc.

Yeah, your own kids count. Of course the goal of this contest is to take a kid who would otherwise miss out on this opportunity, but as long as you geta kid out, that'll work.

Heres a pic from LAST year. I took my cousin out to the farm that I haunt. (its beyond hunting;)). This was his first buck and his last year to hunt the youth season. He is the one on the right. I love hunting with him, we are a very deadly hunting team.

this is one of my good buddies son.he is 15.his dad passed away 2 years ago so his ucle and i have been takin care of the hunting for him.we got these doe 30 minutes apart last friday:D:D
