I took my sister in law out hunting with me and it didn't take long to find the deer. She did really well walking quietly through the canyons. I think this will definately be a hunt I will remember and she will too.
Her first deer.....
243 at 200 yards. 100grains. 2 hour hunt. One Big Smile...

I am 17 my name is kylei took my next door neighbor that is 8 his name is lukeon a bow hunt with me. I have a buddy stand and he was sitting right next to me when i shot her. I pretty sure i made his month and his grandpa's month. I was hunting on his grandpa's land he use to hunt but he is unable to now.

I took my Daughter this year. It was her 1st year hunting in Pa. with a rifle she is 12. She harvested a mature doe the 1st morning!

Hey Farmcountry,, Last Thursday, I took my 5 year old son, Colton,out on a coon hunt with myself and a buddy who has Mountain curs. It was his first time getting to carry his Crickett .22 rifle on a hunt, and his forst opportunity to shoot at a live animal,, He got a possum, and a coon on his first night out, you would have thought he had just shot a bear the way he was acting! I havent taken any pics of him deer hunting with me this year, but will have to take some, I do have pics of him with me with a doe he helped me track. Heres his coon hunt.

Dont know if this counts, but here he is after a tracking job, he gets very upset with me if I dont come get him to help me track deer. Hes even pretty good at it.

The Granddaughter Hailey'sfirst Buck (she saysso)when she moved the hair away she started yelling spiker, I got a spiker, age 14, taken on first day of youth hunt Sept 22 2007.

Whats a smile like that worth :D. My Grandson Caleb age 12, Hailey's brother and his first Buck.
Caleb was sweting bullets after his sister got a deer opening morning of the youth hunt, but managed to pull it off on the 2nd and last day, in the last few minutes of daylight on his Grandmothers 10 acres.
Caleb also taged another 6pt during regular firearms season, 2 Bucks his first year!
Note: Muzzle Loader was never reloaded and bolt was to the rear, picture makes it look like it was pointing at camera, but was off to the side.

farm, i thought you would like more pics, i already have entrys, you dont have to enter this if you dont want, im just keeping the thread alive. Just got in from taking my son and his best buddy out duckin. My son Dalton is on MYleft and is 16. Im in the middle (just a choufer :D) and his buddy Jamond 14 is on MY right. decoy spread in the background. we had a blast, kids are so fun to hunt with. :)TTT

Tanner and I have been back at it. He was pleasantly surprised to find a new Howa .243 under the Christmas tree. We didn't have a chance to get outuntil the 26th and Tanner made it count. I put him in a box blind on the edge of a pasture hoping he would get a shot at his 1st buck. No deer showed up but this 'yote did. Tanner made a great 75 yd shot to drop him in his tracks for his 1st kill with his new rifle!

Will do! That was one happy kid as you can see by his smile. What a blast for both of us! He has a friend with no father figure that we intend to take hog hunting soon. I hope we can get it done for your contest although just making sure it happens is the important thing!
