How do yo hunt the wind when the deer may come from any different direction? Just wondering what some of you do.I do try to make the best guess as to which way they may approach, but sometimes I guess wrong can't always know where I hunt where they may come from because there are no specific bedding areas per say.

grass is fine around hay fields, and probably everywhere for that matter. but if your hunting woods, wouldn't fresh cut grassbe just another foreign scent that they may associate with danger. maybe im off base here.

scentfree is the way to go. even though it is impossible lol.

I hunt in an area where you can't predict the wind. If it's light, forget it. It has to be a steady breeze before you can hunt wind. Do your best for scent control and it works if you take notes on what you did that day vs. yesterday. Experience helps in this situation.
