Hunt in a Bad wind.

Do you still hunt in a bad wind. I mean im hunting kid of close to bedding areas and the wind is blowing parallel to it. Should i Hunt or not? Reply quick cuz i just got home and want to know it would scare the deer far away.

Go right ahead you can slip in without any sound and they will never know.

If my stand is not down wind of where I expect deer to be I willNOT hunt it that day.

I always have a number of stands set up for all possible wind directions.

If you can position yourself downwind of where you expect to see deer then I say go for it.

If not I would wait for another day.

I went for it and i had a deer grunting down wind of me. Man I wish he would have came in front of me. I have never been busted by a deer for scent. I guess rolling around in the dirt is good.

It's all fun smack little man....I'm glad you can get away with that. Keep up the work, sooner or later we'll see the antler on the ground...good luck.;)

Think about it and it could be a compliment as well. [8D]
