Default Hunting neighbors

I was out opening day and was sitting in a new stand I set up. The stand is in the hardwoods and is about 100 yds away from a food source owned by a farmer that does not hunt. I saw a big buck walk down a path and into the neighbors field. I then heard the doe in estrus can call about 10 times in a row and then a grunt call two or three times. The next thing I saw was the white of the bucks tail running at full tilt away from the area. A few minutes later I saw the hunter making the calls walk out and leave. I am seriously frustrated at this pointand want to get down and ask him why the doe in heat call in early October but I still had thirty minutes left of light. I am not sure if that buck will ever be back after that episode. Should I have said something to him or just hope it ends up working to my advantage by pushing deer towards me?

I don't think I would say anything. Some people just can't be trained and it could cause more issues than it solves. I understand the frustration, though. Maybe you could approach him about it later and just kinda ease in some "tips" on using the calls.

Use him as a blocker. Just knowing where he is going to be and set up to hunt that way.

Gmmat, I'm assuming he has permission but have no idea who the guy is. I'm just trying to decide whether or not to nicely talk to him and maybe give him some advice. The last thing I want is to have a problem with him but the spot is really good for deer travel.
