[blockquote]I need to find something that will draw the deer off the new travel route. I want something that will bring them into my stand again. The other guy is putting out corn and Big Buck Crunch {I think}. Is there anything out there that really works well. There is a lot of hype in the attractant world. I have never looked into this stuff before. What would you use if you had one shot at this? The area is 1.5 hours from my house and anyone that knows me knows I don't get much free time. I want something that is going to last a while once I put it down. I plan to hunt this place with my father in-law in a few weeks . After that; I don't care what happens with the deer. For now however; I need to get the deer to come in to my stand .

The best SINGLE thing I've ever used is Buck Jam. In apple, p-nut, or persimmon flavors.
I used 10gal. of it last year. Killed a fewfeerwhile they were pawing it and got countless pics on the trail cam.Pour it over corn and its the best combo.
My best friend called me up about a month ago saying "man, you gotta try this stuff I bought. I've never seen anything like it". I asked "what is it". He replied "Buck Jam". I just smiled and said "You should have been listening when I told you about it LAST YEAR".
But in all honesty....I don't think that theres anything that will really help your case. The deer are going to go where they want to go. Period. And if you go in there messing around too much, you are gonig to run them off you land and his land.

You are the only person Ive ever seen to say that C'mer deer works. I tried it and will never buy any again.
I tried buck grub...they ate it, but as i have stated nothing that i've used compares to Buck Jam

[/align]How about apples covered in busk jam. JK Corn with buck jam and apples with no buck jam. Sounds good. the buck Jam will stay around a while and the apples are easy enough to re- apply when I am there. I will be there 2 more times before the mid-November hunt. I think that should do th trick.

go to your flower shop and buy a couple flats of pansies. the deer go crazy for them. also hunt over an area with a lot of mushrooms in the winter. thats a major key in their winter diet i believe
