go to your flower shop and buy a couple flats of pansies. the deer go crazy for them. also hunt over an area with a lot of mushrooms in the winter. thats a major key in their winter diet i believe

Do you guys think I have enough time left to get the does coming around my stand regularly? I plan to go out this weekend and put some stuff down. I would like to go out one more time after that to hunt and put more stuff down.

You are the only person Ive ever seen to say that C'mer deer works. I tried it and will never buy any again.
I tried buck grub...they ate it, but as i have stated nothing that i've used compares to Buck Jam

K.P. did you read the entire post? I know how to scout. I did a good job scouting. This is about trumping the guy on the next property. He started putting out corn. The deer don't come into the natural food any more. I don't have time to hook up with him and work it out. I only need something to bring them in for a short period of time. I wanted to put my father in-law on some deer in mid November. The stand was in a good spot before the corn. My plan was to offer to go in half with him on a feeder . this would keep the bucks from going noturnal and still bring the deer to him. I talked to the land owner and he said he had never seen the guy. I guess it was a fluke when I ran into him Saturday. This post was a follow up from another post. I know he can do whatever he wants with his land. I don't have time to find him and make the offer. The only thing I can do is to try and bring the deer in to my stand first. I wanted something that they would walk past corn to get. They pass my stand on the way to the corn but, they stay nto far out and I can't get closer.

An old timers recipe for a good deer attractant (food). corn meal, Wheaties cereal, vanilla extract, brown sugar and maple syrup. Mix all the above ingredients in a large bowl, freeze it for a couple days and then take it to your favorite hunting spot (hunting laws permitting) and watch the deer tear it up. The deer will come to that exact area for months, even after it is all gone. Try it.

No seriously right now my deer have so many acorns they dont care about the corn!
