PreacherTony- you couldnt have asked for better weather for the season opener. Our season opened last week, I hunted a ground blind on Friday and it was like sitting in a sauna. I got all scent free before going out and when I got back my clothes were soaked in sweat. I was litterally able to ring em out. Cant imagine why I didnt see anything.

I'm gonna sit in my stand ALL DAY!!!..... or at least till I put some meat in the freezer ...... it has been brutal hearing about everone hunting and all I can kill are tree rats!

I'm going to get a jump on the weekend. The temp's are going to be perfect in the morning and evening. I'm off Thursday , Fri. morning and Sat evening. I can't wait. I looking forward to some good long stand time minus the 'skeeters.

I'm hoping to work my schedule so that I can get out Fri evening and then all day Saturday. Like I mentioned in another post, I'm waiting on a dog bite to heal 100%, but I figure if Rob can hunt with crutches... then I can get out there with a bite to my release hand! Can't wait for Fall to finally arrive.
