Quick video from one of my stands......
Took video out of one of my stands this weekend. This was a hot spot last year but I think the heat is killing morning movement from here right now, not sure. Once chasing starts I'm sure it will get hot again, last year Dan had 4 different 1.5-2.5 year old bucks chasing different does in front of himhere on a single morning.
Anyhow, as the video first starts, it's looking down a fairly steep sidehill that is approximately a 150' elevation drop in a little over 100 yards. The stand is on the edge of a shelf that sits on this sidehill. As the camera pans through, just as it sweeps up to looking down that shelf.......that is the pinch point that comes off a huge 5 acre oak/hickory flat that the deer love to feed on all day and mingle out of in the mornings. They funnel off that and onto my sidehilland bed in the tree tops we placed there for bedding coverabout 100 yards away from this stand in the direction just before the end of the video. On top of the hill where you can see horizon is one of my food plots (plot #2 for those that read my journal) as well. Wind was perfect on Saturday morning coming out of the southwest blowing my scent straight off the shelf, only thing we were missing was some deer........[8D].

And a quick picture of me walking by my game camera on Saturday morning.....
