Default bad luck continues

so tonighti shot a 6 point. at 28 yards. quartering away, lumenock showed the hit right behind the shoulder halfway up. i thought it was a perfect hit, lung and heart. watched him run for over 200 yards, then fight to keep himself up for a few minutes and finally bedding down, i watched him untill it got to dark. waited over and 1hour 15mins. went out couldnt find my arrow no blood. found were he bedded down. and founds some blood, not alot, then found another spot of blood like he brushed up against something, but in the end came up with nothing. what do you think happened??

i say go look for him with a couple buddies with some spot lights all around where you seen last blood...though if it is kinda cool where you are at then maybe you can wait for first light and search...i think he is laying there somewhere

I know its not an easy thing to do but I think you didn't wait long enough after you seen him just bed down! He's is probably dead now but went further that you wanted him to! Get out there at first light and start tracking him! Good luck and keep us updated!!!!

Get out there and relentlessly search..take inspiration of Matts post the other day..it took him the better part of 3 days to find a deer, he knew he hit well.

It ended with him collecting a great buck and memories for a lifetime.
