Well, you know... they say speed's not everything (he types as he waits on the arrival of his Airborne 82 IBOing at 350 fps... [:-])

I will agree that speed isn't everything but also, just because a bow comes in a long or short draw, doesn't mean it is deigned for either.

High reflex,IMO are never designed for a long draw length shooter.Regardless of what the offered draw length is.

Also,IMO,any bow under 38" is not designed for draw lengths over 30"

Of course, what I think and what the market demands are completely different.

Exactly! I'm not sure of the market % that is less than 27" draw, but I doubt it warrants designing most of your line for them. Most short draw archers I know shoot a Bowtech and are well satisfied with the performance they get. After all there is no Equal to the Equalizer

Hmm, well it looks like I might unload my Switchback in favor of the new Diamond. And my faithful Allegiance in favor of an Airborne. If I come here posting about my wife asking for divorce you guys will know why. LOL

The new "Airborne" line bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain 2007 High Country Iron Mace that I happenknow a little bit about...

Hmm...

Anyone wanna bet that the draw cycle loads up at the end, then breaks into a deep valley with a rock solid back wall?

Nice bows for sure. I'm sure that anyone who buys one will not be disappointed. Bowtech makes fantastic hunting bows, and they have obviously continued in that regard.

I still just think they're horribly overpriced, and the dealers are making an absolutekilling on them. Not fair to the consumer. Not being a homer, just stating my opinion.

Compare:

$829 MSRP

$600 ($530 if you buy it through the company)
