RE: Pics of the new bowtech 101st Airborne!
GMMAT,
In 2007, they made an unspecified donation for each Tribute sold (mine has a yellow ribbon decal on it).
According to their press release, to date they donated 72k to TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program
for Survivors).
I wouldn't be surprised if they pick another bow to do that for in 08. Would be great if they kept that
tradition going.

I just wish that the would put more time into a few bows designed for short DL.
Also, the Airborne 82 is currently spec'd out to go down to 26 1/2".
And on the flip side of that.....LONG DL......guys w/ a DL longer than 30" are nearly hosed anymore
Happy?
Ok, happier?

Me personally I don't really care for the reflex riser,I prefer a straighter riser and a longer brace height, but I'm sure it's a great bow.

I also prefer a flat grip so doesn't look like there is a bow in the Bowtech line for me at all.
Although,I love the center pivot design.
I also give praise to Bowtech for their support of our service men and woman.

You mean like the Equalizer, the fastest bow apples to apples in Bowtech's lineup the last couple years?
Also, the Airborne 82 is currently spec'd out to go down to 26 1/2".
The Airborne 101 goes up to 31 1/2".
Happy?

I saw these on another site so I thought I would post them here. Looks incredible.
It is 36" ATA I believe with a 7 1/4" brace height. Supposed to shoot around 340 fps? Built in roller guard with STS.
I cant wait to see on at my local shop. Sorry the picture is a little blurry. I am sure more photos will be showing up very soon

Airborne 82: 26 1/2 - 30 1/2
Airborne 101: 27 1/2 - 31 1/2
Allegiance: 26 1/2 - 30 1/2
Commander: 26 1/2 - 31 1/2
Constitution: 27 - 30 1/2
Equalizer: 24 - 27 1/2
General: 26 - 30
Guardian: 25 - 30.5
Tomkat: 27 -31
Diamond
Marquis: 26 - 30
Black Ice:26 - 30
Liberty: 25 - 30
Justice: 26- 31
The Rock: 25 - 30
The Edge: 18 - 28
Cutter: 18 - 28
I guess it depends on your definition of short DL... Several bows in the lineupstart out at 25 or 26", and almost all of them begin at least at 26 1/2 inches... That's about as short as practical when manufacturing a mass-produced bow across the spectrum of an entire lineup.

I know that they will go down to "short draw", but it kills the speed. Thats what I meant by having more bows that were specifically designed for short DL that won't kill your spee. Like the EQ.
