I went out with a friend of mine hunting when he called me on the phone that he hit one high and that it fell over then got up and ran away. i told him to stay put that i would be there in 30 minutes when i gathered up my stuff and made over to where he was. When i got there we went to check out the arrow to see where it was hit. I found it stuck in the base of a tree but it had no blood , hair or anything on it . I looked around the aarea and couldn't find any blood. I decided to look to see if a deer is down and found nothing. I'm thinking he missed it but why would it fall over ? Did it get startled and trip ?

Could have jumped and fell without getting hit. Stranger things have happened.
