I also like it ,but I agree something a little longer . I'm shooting the ally right now and love it ,so it'll be hard to go to something any shorter .But it does look pretty sweet.

I think the 101st Airborne is the cream of the crop, based on specs alone. That's the perfect all around bow for hunting and 3d IMO.

I wonder if the Tribute will find it's way to the Diamond line? I know Diamond doesn't do binary camsbut it would be nice if they did. I'd buy a Diamond "Tribute" for $499!

I do not think the Tribute will be in the Diamond line this year as the Marquis and the Rock are their only new bows. Plus, the Black Ice basically is a Tribute but with a single cam design.

That Marquis really does look nice on paper. I wonder how it will shoot...and I wonder if the Black Ice has been refined at all. It will be a tough act to follow.

What kind of strings are coming stock on the 08 Bowtechs and Hoyts?

My buddy just bought a new Vulcan, and the Fuse string on it is absolute trash. His string stretched so bad after about 500 shotsthat we had to put about 20 twists in it just to get it back into spec. Shame, for a bow with a $700 price tag.

I emailed Muzzy about that a couple weeks ago and in their response they indicated that a prototype is currently being tested and should hit retail sometime in 2008.

I would highly doubt that anyone at Muzzy had anything in the works for this particular bow until last week; it was kept top, top secret until then.

Now, they HAVE been working on something for the Guardian... This is the latest correspondence I received from Mark Land, the technical director at Muzzy:

We actually had a prototype that looked promising, but it just did not work as well with the Guardian as I hoped and would require us to have special parts for many different bows and we really did not want to get into building individual rests that will only work on 1 particular bow model. I have successfully installed our PC rest on some Guardians, even short draw ones and had them shooting Blazers fine, I just think it is more about knowing the rest and how it functions as well as how to install and fine tune one more then anything else. We’ll keep you posted. Thanks!

Alrighty then..looks like your gonna have to do some testing..since you'll have the bows in hand first! You steered me right on the 0 effect, so we'll see what you pull out of your hat this time!

I apologize, I thought the question was about the Guardian. I didn't put 1+1 together fast enough. My post about the prototype was in reference to the Guardian/Commander design.
