First Archery Deer

Got this deer tonight at about 6:45pm. All was quiet for about 2 hours and all of the sudden this guy came running out, gave me a 15 yard shot, had no idea I was there, he ran 25 yards and dropped. Complete lung pass through. Im so exited, this is my first archery deer. All the hard work payed off, now for the big boys. I was kind of hoping that it was a doe, I couldnt tell that it was a button buck from the distance. Oh well...now I can be more selective!

That's quite a sea of emotions, isn't it? That first one is so exhillerating.....and you know what? The second one will be too!

Congrats on a terrific accomplishment! Enjoy them there backstraps!

great job...............you'll never forget it....i know i'll never forget my first bow kill.......it's amazing the things you just cant forget.......birth of your child......wedding day(although that could be forgotten at times lol) and your first archery kill
