I think the lack of bloodtrail was due to the high lung hit. The lungs were probably full of blood but the entrance and exit holes were so high in the lungs that the deer died before the blood could spill out. That's happened to me a few times with high lung hits. About two or three inches lower and you'd have a massive blood trail. You got her though. Nice job.

nd she left literally no blood trail. None where she was standing when I shot her, no blood trail to the spot where she dropped. I've never experienced this before.
