Default Most over looked gear?

What do you believe is some of the most over looked gear?

One thing I use that I don't hear mentioned hardly ever.... if ever is the electric boot dryer made by Peet..... They are pretty sweet, it allows me to dry out my boots over night or in between hunts if I get them wet. Also, it expedites thedrying process when I soak all my boots in Atsko Sportwash and water before the season opener and periodically during the season on an as needed basis.

Gotta keep those dogs clean

A handpruning shears. For trimming limbs.

If I don't have one on me, I have one of those extendable pole pruners with a saw blade on in my truck all the time. Just in case I need to hunt from a new tree and trim shooting lanes.

Sure do.... I have 3 sets that I rotate between trying to keep them fresh inside. I also wear Rocky boots as well at times though, mostly after the temps drop as my feet stay warmer in those.

I carry mine a lot to.... How do you keep the blade from rusting with out the use of oil?

I have went thru 2 blades from them rusting and becoming dull.

I just douse mine in baking soda and let them sit outside.......Seems to work I "guess".....though I don't know what the deer are smelling.

Boot dryer would be nice, I guess.

I think mine is stainless steel. I have had it at least 5+ years and still have the original blade on it.

I'm sure it does work, your tactic..... I keep my boots inside those rubber maid containers and transport them a lot with me hunting different places.... If they have odor inside them it will fill the container with the smell ultimately leaving scent on the outside of the otherboots as well. This is why I rotate and clean them throughout the season.
