I just douse mine in baking soda and let them sit outside.......Seems to work I "guess".....though I don't know what the deer are smelling.
Boot dryer would be nice, I guess.
I'm sure it does work, your tactic..... I keep my boots inside those rubber maid containers and transport them a lot with me hunting different places.... If they have odor inside them it will fill the container with the smell ultimately leaving scent on the outside of the otherboots as well. This is why I rotate and clean them throughout the season.
