You are giving horrible advice, my friend .....noone should EVER shoot with anything but razor sharp heads! Just because you killed a deer with less, doesn't make it ok ... my nephew killed a deer with a field tip ... grabbed the wrong arrow in the dark, that doesn't make it ok ....

What kind of broadheads are they?It depends on what kind of target also,I can shoot muzzy's into my morrel broadhead target and they don't get dull at all,I actually shot a doe last year with the same blades I practice with and it still passed thru while going through ribs on both sides!!!but make sure that they are sharp you would'nt want to miss the deer of a lifetime because of dull broadheads.

Drizz.....Seriously....just always use the new broadhead (at least blades) thing as a rule. You'll never go wrong, that way. Everyone here is just trying to help you....and do the right thing in the eyes of the game.
Nobody's jumping on you....just making a suggestion that's pretty widely accepted.
Good luck!

Drizz, I got to go with Preacher, GMMAT and everyone against your practice.....it's not hard to change blades right?
So don't shoot your new blades into a target, put in used blades, shoot it and the swap them out for new.
One shot rule! A single shot of a broadhead renders them useless for hunting unless the blades are changed or sharpened.
