Damn jeff, that's a pretty nice helmet. "Tactical Hunting Helmet" - maybe dress it up with some scent lok, cozy insulation,walkers game ears in the ear flapsand a camo shell... Might be onto something...

lol - the tree umbrella... I have one. Use it fairly often, if I think it's a rainstorm that won't last real long. Good for a slow rain shower. Anybody ever use one in a windy t-storm? That sucker whips sideways and catches the windlike a parachute. Just cut it loose, and sit there and take your soaking...

The way I figure (back to the walnuts) - I'll be 20-24' up, so even if they fall from the top,they won't have much time to gain speed before impact.

I feel like I might bestarting to go bald, too - so I figure if I get slapped in the head, I can say that the walnutirreparably damaged my hair follicles, and caused me to suffer increased hair loss. That way, when I'm skin bald, I can blame it on the walnuts.

I think a used hockey helmet breaks all rules with with comes to scent control. All deer in a 4 mi radius will be able to smell you enter the woods.
