Are you sure you have the right to hunt a "public right of way" over someone else's property?
If I think of utility lines or water easements, I know you can't just go and hunt those.
By definition, a right of way is the right to a limited use of the land for the purpose set
forth in the right of way. The owner of the land still "owns" the property. So if I have a pipeline
right of way on my property, it doesn't mean that the pipeline company can come set up
deerstands on the pipeline (unless they put that in the right of way).
Also, if it's narrow, wouldn't you almost have to track the deer off the right of way (unless you
shot them in the head).
I would be pissed if I were those private property owners, unless I am missing something.

Im in love with stupid deer, especially the ones that let you walk up to them and shoot them, their the best, they need to be taken out of the heard anyhow, they dont belong.

First any hunter worth his salt is not going to leave a dead process doe in this heat for over 3 hrs.
Second no deer in a hunted area isgoing tosit there and let you take off your pack, strap on a release and then shoot her.
Here is a deerI saw in Ohio over the weekend. This is privateground and she let me watch her for awhile, until I moved, I was at least 35 yds away

We all know that Mr. Longbeard hunts in the deepest parts of the western MD hardwoods and nowhere near private land. But he's shot over 100 deer with just a bow. Therefore, I am agreeing with the smelly story.
