Personally, I've decided to call it quits till this heat breaks. I shot one last year when it was this hot, and I'll tell ya.....that's just too darn much like work! Phooey on that this year.....
Dress as light as you can, take your time walking, and bring a bottle of scent eliminating spray w/ you.

I know the die hard crowd will disagree but when it is over 80, I dont hunt. I hate hunting & sweating, very little game movement, and should I take something it is very difficult to proccess the meat fast enough.

Durring this hot hot heat i wouldnt mess with shooting a doe though...like others have said its a real hassle to deal with everything so if your going to do it i would make it worth it! Just my opinion...

On opening day here in NC it was over 95 degrees in the afternoon. I saw 7 deer in the afternoon and only 1 in the morning!! Take your time, walk slow, and keep scent spray with you. Of course a water bottle always helps too!!
