Gerhard was my PH in South Africa. He has some very impressive trophys and can shoot lights out. I got that pic. in an email last night. Elephant, Rhino, Cape are all very tough animals.

I wonder how they look upon our way of hunting, when is the last time you heard of a hunter being killed by a whitetail? I think you'd look differently at it if it was you on the other end of an Elephant or Rhino charge eh??
As far as shooting the dead Rhino...how else are you going to test the penetration? as crude and unethical as it may seem the results will actually help hunters become more ethical by knowing what works and what doesn't.
Take a second and think about it....you'll see.

I don't know if I'd be so quick to judge mathews outback. We hunt (for the most part) a very predictable animal (deer)that is a creature of habit and very....very non dangerous. We are also used to the game here on the North American Continent.

Nice, well thought out and didn't even get mad. That is nice to see we can be respectful to our fellow hunters with opinions that differ from ours.
