Six Mile Run Reservoir...NJ...Where to Go????
Help!!
A friend and I are looking to hunt the Six Mile Run Resevoir area in NJ. This is a bow only area, is large in size, and get hardly any pressure.
The thing is we are looking for info from anyone that has hunted there before, as to where to head out from, a good starting point, tactics to use there etc.....
Also how is the hunting in this park?

Catskill, I hunt 6 mile run with a friend of mine. My first piece of advice would be to learn where the parking areas are. If you park illegally you will get ticketed and possibly towed. You can get a map showing where the legal areas to hunt are at the park office on Canal Road. There are tons of deer there, and it is a nice area to hunt. The other advice I can give you is don't go to my spots.<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> Good luck.
