Default cost of mounting

i know this is a thing that changes with diff states and areas but what does it cost to get a normal mount the kind right above the shoulders

also this is my fourth year hunting and i have not got a deer but i have found sevrel good spots and even found a guy that is going to help me and let me hunt his land for does only

would you mount your first deer if it was a doe or would you nevermount a doe at all

Depends on you and how you feel about the hunt, and the money. Only you can answer that question...

Sorry,

The cost of a shoulder mount in Nortwest Fl is about $225.00--And as far as what to mount only you can answer that--If it makes you happy do it!!
I got a buddy that has a doe mounted and a buck for every point you name--I think the last time I talked to him he needed a one horn spike and a eleven point to have doe through 12point covered!

my 2004 buck cost me $475.

If you want to spend the money on getting your 1st deer mounted there is nothing wrong with that. I personally waited until i got my 1st buck.

Price depends on what and who..... not necessarily where. There are good and bad taxidermists everywhere. Some who don't know business and won't be around long will do it for less, those who have been around and put the little extras in will cost more. Here's one that I mounted a while ago...... Right around $595
