How do you drag your deer out?

Not only does it look funny, no one is dragging that think anywhere if that is how the antlers would be facing. Dig right into the ground

Anyone else notice that this deer has no legs??
I know... it's a mount... but still thought it was pretty funny.

Ditto here. Works great- I have an o-ring attachment on my harness near the bottom of my back so I am pulling with mostly my legs.

I use my safety harness that I wear on my climber. The part that goes around the tree fits around the deers neck. I find this much easier than using a rope or pulling the deer by its feet/antlers.

I air lift mine out by helicopter. What do you mean how do you get them out,you grab the freakin thing (I mean beautiful creature) and start pulling!
How many times have you gone over to your recently killed quarry and pulled it in to position for field dressing and gone oh @#%& it is going to be a long morning/afternoon/evening.
To give you a serious answer,Game carts are great, four wheelers are better, one or two friends, two to drag and one to hold equipment, boning and packing. It depends on where you are and what resources you have available to you.

Rap it in a tarp so it drags nice then strap a rope on it then tie the rope to my hips and start pullin. Or if im really far from the trucks i just hike back and get the quad.
