Anyone keep the Heart and Liver and/or other entrails for the dinner table?

Actually both are very yummy, it used to be a tradition..now it's kinda faded since all the CWD started becoming public.

For the dog's dinner table . My dogs love stuff like that.

I used to make chili out of heart,haven't in years.

Me, my brother and Dad used to go camping/deer hunting during the Thanksgiving break for 4 days. When we killed a deer, we always cooked the heart and liver that night.

We never brought it home to cook b/c my mom would never cook it, much less eat it.

I always save the heart and liver , my wife and I enjoy eatting the liver and one of my friends always wants the heart.

My dad will always boil the heart and slice it up for sandwichs. Its actually pretty good.

I have a list of people waiting in line for the hearts

Never did like liver. My grandpa always has us save the heart and liver for him. Must not be too bad for ya, he is 85 years old.

The heart and liver are usually the second meal, the first is the backstraps.

never tryed either i like liver beef chicken so on but not any heart for me
