How many of you are into guns as much as archery?

I'm definately more of a gun guy. Blame it on my Grandpa. He was a part time gun dealer (Bought a lot, sold a few) when I was growing up. I enjoy reloading and shooting especially with wildcat cartridges. Hunting is fun either way. I love the challenge and in your face action with my bow, but it is equally satisfying to harvest game with a rifle that I have rebarreled, bedded and finished the stock, sighted in, and developed a near perfect load for. It's all about the process for me, not just the finale. Which is a lot like archery. Tuning the bow, finding the right arrow, fletching, broadhead combo, practicing, etc.

I'm still very much into guns as I am archery. Any time I get a chance to shoot/hunt I'm there no matter the weapon. I grew up around strictly gun hunters and while I would rather take any animal with a bow over a firearm I just can't pass up the opportunity to shoot a gun

I love bowhunting and 3D but I can do that with my one bowtech. hard to shoot just one gun especially in the west between prairie dogs, coyotes, Antelope, deer, elk, moose, geese, ditch chickens, etc. Thats why I got a safe full of them so I am prepared for whatever season may be open.

I have 3 shot gun's, one .243 rifle, on old world war one 30/40,a Ruger .22, and a Ruger .22 pistol.
I use A shot gun for Pheasants and Ducks. But there haven't been many Ducks around the last couple of years.
The .243 I use for yotes. Don't do much of that either
The .22's are just for plinking around once in a while.
I haveFive Bows
And Old Bear Whitetail 2(Just kept it for sentimental reasons)
05 Martin Cougar(Hunting Bow)
06 Martin Scepter (Indoor/Outdoor Target Bow)
04 Merlin Max 3000 (Mainly 3D Bow)
Old Re-curve (fun to fling arrows with)
I'm an archery nut.......I've shot a couple of deer with the Shot gun but didn't do anything for me since I had already had archery in my veins. When the Orange army comes out I hide inside or go out of state

I enjoy shooting guns at the range, but when it comes to hunting I would hunt with my bow during the 7 days of shotgun season in Illinois if I could.
Use a gun for small game and during shotgun season but not nearly as fun.

I used to be big into guns, not so much these days. I do enjoy shooting long ranges and used to compete in silhouette shoots locally and did well. I used to handload and all that as well but just lost most interest in most all of it several years back. I do still enjoy taking the .223 out for chucks and calling for predators as well in the late winter though. I carry it a LOT while scouting in the summer and love taking the occasional 400 yard poke at chucks.........I still have a few honey holes I can take the 10fp out to on any given day and kill a half dozen chucks. That's really the extent of it though. The one thing I do miss though is small game hunting. I suppose some day I will tag out in both NY and PA early (unlikely at best) and may have a chance to do some squirrel hunting with a .22 again........I really do enjoy hunting tree rats as well.
