I agree...............some stuff (IMO) is WAY overpriced.

i used to be like that. well...kinda still am.
found great deals on Fall grey predator this year and this is the first year i have a matching suit. as well as a full scent loc suit in MOBU and another in Realtree extra gray i aquierd from a friend...i cant say id pay the prices for scent loc...but since i got it, i am going to take care of it and use it...maybe it'll make me a believer...
it is kinda rediculous what camo goes for. most important thing is getting a decint pattern and matching. i never thought matching mattered...but in a treestand with a MOBU top and seclusion3d pants on, my legs glowed last year.
come turkey season sitting at the base of a tree, legs on ground and body on the tree, that same setup works beautifully.
end of season sales are always great...thats when i do my shoppin for dang near everything!

When it comes to camo time I usually go to the Army Surplus store. You can get any of the mil-spec BDU style clothing for next to nothing and the one I go to carries many of the popular hunting patterns as well for very reasonable prices. Another place to look at is Cheaperthandirt.com, they carry a lotof the mil-spec stuff that works great. Personally, I thinkthe military patternswork just fine, people havetaken plenty of critters wearing that kind of stuff, including myself and everyone else in my family who hunts. For me its hard to justify spending a ton more on something that works the same as what I already have. And really the new digital pattern camo is very light and open, just like all of the big box camo places top lines.

Ahhhh yes.....I sure do love working in a pro shop.......

I agree, that stuff is expensive. and the better it is, the more expensive it is. Sometimes, the extra cash is worth it in the long run.

I buy a lot of things after the season at cheaper prices. That is how I like to buy hunting videos, if I see something that I want I wait and get it somethimes at half price.
