Dirt cheap here too. If it isn't clearance I normally won't buy it.

I went to my lake house Friday. I planned on dove hunting that evening. I caught up on some chores I had to do around there. I wanted to just go to sleep and rest, but I decided to go off to the river bottom and see if I could roust up a few birds. I didn't change out of my jeans ( I was too tired ) so I just put on a Mossy Oak tee shirt and wore my black bowtech hat, and could have used a bath [:'(]. I hadn't seen many doves any way on my last hunt so what the heck, I figured I'd just hang around some tree and see if I could see some doves. Before long a sow with some piglets came out, then a boar. I was covered up in hogs. All I had was my shotgun with 7 1/2 dove loads... Just don't figure, when I bathe with hunting soap, put on camo, put on mask, take all precautions I don't see that many hogs... So does expensive camo really matter? I was hunting long before expensive camo, and had many successful hunts. Like the guys that spend lots of money on scent free boots... I have a seven dollar pair of rubber boots that work great. In fact I will prove that in a week with pictures of hogs harvested Sept 21st... I will post the hogs, and the camo used! And later on Oct, I'll do the same with whitetail and Axis...Just to prove my point!

i try to stay cheap with camo. I usually hit up the sales when they are going on. This week though i had a doe walk within five yards of me feeding with her little ones. I had on khaki shorts and a blue t-shirt with a red hat and white shoes. They kept on feeding and i just stayed as still as i could be. The thing was though that the wind was in my favor. I think that is more important than how much you spent on your camo. Being 20 though it is real easy for me to get cought up in all the hype they put out about scent lok this and scent blocker that.

Man I agree! I love to go to Cabelas and Bass Pro but I practically never buy most things I intend to because it is so expensive. The prices that they want for new camo is outrageous. I cant help but think of the bills I could pay or the things I could do at home with the money I would spend on the newest stuff.

Ditto, I refuse to pay full price for anything if it can be avoided.

I'm about half and half, I try to keep those high dollar buys to a minimum. Speaking of the new military cammies, has anyone else seen the new "Tiger Stripe" Air Force cammies yet? I wouldn't mind taking them out once the leaves have fallen...

Frequent shopper. Seldom buyer. I do enjoy paying whatever to a guy who has my best interests in mind.

Can't see paying $150-200 for............................................... underwear. Camo underwear is just an insult to my intelligence.

That is pretty sweet pattern! The "all terrain" pattern looks like it could be very versatile, though the "woodland" pattern would probably work very well too.
