Sevenmag , I wont give hunting up , and next year I will try for a 5 point or better bull for the first few days , and then Im a meat hunter , just like this year .

Antler Eater ,I was in a tree slighty abouve level with a water hole and wearing advantage timber bibs and a seclusion shirt

That is a beautiful symmetric bull, congrads! Ifriend of mine killed a 378 P&Y bull in Idaho a few years ago that was a bit thicker through the beams.. I'm still dreaming of happening into a big fella in a legal circumstance (I've bumped into big bulls so many times when I couldn't shoot them it isn't funny).

I bet you're were happy to have a guide field dress that monster in that hot weather!

I was glad to have 4 other men to help get him in the truck , It did cool down to 40 degrees that night so he hung until morning .

So this wasn't an outfitterguided trip? I've seen some outfitters at gunshows advertising good rates on Elk, deer and antelope hunts in the breaks. My elk hunt starts this Friday in Montana.

Very nice bull! My old man is heading out to MT on the 29th I hope he has the same luck as you. He also hunts the river, goes out there every year regardless of getting drawn.
