The NY deer in a tree...that's simple don't mountian lions hang there prey?[8D]

Here's actually a funny story and true about deer in trees....I know a guy who was hunting at the top of a very high cliff. He shot a small 6 point when shot plunged off the cliff. He looked and looked at the base till someone looked up and saw it stuck in a tree V like that doe...He got a chainsaw to cut the tree down and retrieve his buck. It was some neat pics...no I can understand that one.

It could be photoshopped. Look at the way it is laying on the lines, the bulk of its weight is off of the side. Nothing on other side to counterbalance it.

I shot a deer one time. It looked a little scrufty when I shot it but I was looking at The Spot and the rack. Anyway, when I got to it it had a big wound that was ozzing and all pussed up. It also was rail think. If you grabbed the hide big patch of hair would come right out. Well being one NOT to want to waste meat I decided to tag it with a field tag and ask some folks. Everyone said, throw it away. I called a gamewarden. He said he wouldn't eat it. So now, how do you dispose of it. I knew of a remote road with a big drop off. It was already dark so I said that was the place. I drove out, yanked it out of the van and threw it down the steep drop off. I drove home and was washing my hands up when it hit me.....my field tag was still on the deer.[&:] Now it's raining. I drive back out and start down this slippery slide. Of course I lost my footing and piled head over heals down the bank coming to a stop in a heap in the middle of black berry briars on top of the deer. I collect my tag, climb back up the hill and hurry home before I bleed to death from all the briar scratches. Not a fun night.
And folks that's how the song "Alices Resturant" became a cult classic at Thanksgiving!

You guys crack me up. I believe it's absolutely real, snopes don't lie. That thing got nailed by a train, probably landed on top of the wires and slid all the way to the pole.
I bet the formula one car collision is real too, and you would find the deer stuck up in the tree.

Sorry Redhawk, I just don't see that happening

buck master, good point, I now also see the other shadow of the other line. Just hard to see that a deer being thrown 25 feet into the air, not much damage, and landing perfectly on the pole. I can't see it sliding down the lines, lines look to narrow. It had to be perfect!

I have a hard time believing that a train did that. However, I think the pics are real. The shadows DO add up, it looks like a morning photo. The sun is coming from directly left thus no shadow from the tail.

My guess is that it was put up there by people tho. A train would devastate that, we've all seen deer hit by semi's on the highway. There's nothing but some hair and a blood spot/smear left. Also, there seems to be no logical explanation for there being no hooves.
