RE: How did this Happen???(pic)

I shot a deer one time. It looked a little scrufty when I shot it but I was looking at The Spot and the rack. Anyway, when I got to it it had a big wound that was ozzing and all pussed up. It also was rail think. If you grabbed the hide big patch of hair would come right out. Well being one NOT to want to waste meat I decided to tag it with a field tag and ask some folks. Everyone said, throw it away. I called a gamewarden. He said he wouldn't eat it. So now, how do you dispose of it. I knew of a remote road with a big drop off. It was already dark so I said that was the place. I drove out, yanked it out of the van and threw it down the steep drop off. I drove home and was washing my hands up when it hit me.....my field tag was still on the deer.[&:] Now it's raining. I drive back out and start down this slippery slide. Of course I lost my footing and piled head over heals down the bank coming to a stop in a heap in the middle of black berry briars on top of the deer. I collect my tag, climb back up the hill and hurry home before I bleed to death from all the briar scratches. Not a fun night.

I'm pretty sure that is fake. There would be damage on that car for starters...

I saw and read about this pic a long time ago. It was supposedly hit by a train. If it was hit that hard its hooves would probably still be on the ground under the train...lol

I am a locomotive Engineer and I have hit probally 200 hundred deer. I have never seen one fly in the air of the cattle guard and that deer is in to good of condition to have been hit by a train. They either go off to the side or go underneath the train and get chopped up into little pieces I do believe it is a fake fellas. Photoshop

I agree, that was fake as hell, the deer never even came back down and it clearly would have. Sad. [:'(]

I can tell you this....

If Snopes says it happened. I believe it. They are the kings of dispelling internet myths......AND substantiating their authenticity.

PHOTOSHOP....Looks at it's back leg...it has no hoof.
you would be suprised at what high voltage will burn or blow off.Although those are not high voltage insulators, they are railroad communication lines.
