i will be hunting doing early bow season starts oct 1

i usuly hunt doing gun season which is the rut

now since i am not in the rut what scents should i use and what calls should i try i have a buck grawl the new one from mad calls and a heat bleat from mad calls also a little can bleat from primos my understanding is these are rut calls what should i use doing oct

Hunt somewherethere is a food source they are using and maybe water and a bedding area close by this food source as well. But I would stay out of the bedding areas, hunt the edges if you can, but don't go romping through them. Good luck.

Since it is early season I would use the Primo's bleat can sparingly and do a little grunting.If you have seen quiet a few deerin your area you could try some late october rattling too.Some times it is best to keep quiet and not even let the deer know you there.....kinda play it by ear and see what happens?
