Thanks Troy! I am pleased to see how many of the good folks here are disgusted by this! As Fran would say that seems to be a part of the gene pool that could use some chlorine.(The father)

Just wrong in so many ways.
As far as knowing right from wrong for kids, the adult dad didn't, so where do you draw the line?
If an IQ test was needed to get a hunting license, only about 1% of the people would pass in (insert state you like to pick on here)

Unfortunately, I think this is an all to frequent an occurance in the land of big feeders and shooting towers and so called QDM. When a deer spends his entire life seeing the truck come and serve him breakfast and dinner he knows no better. It's down right disgusting alright. A couple weeks ago people on here were expounding on the great analogy of Nuge when he was suggesting baiting was the same as hunting over and acorn grove. Some said he was cool and right on. Now that we see what baiting can really do we're shocked? I'm not. The put out what they call "Supplemental Feed" for the betterment of the herd they say. Really all it is is baiting and allowing them to put more deer in the pen with big horns and call it QDM. It's growing horns and feeding the livestock. We can't have it both ways. Either you support baiting or you fight it in all it's forms, pure bait or QDM food supplements. I find it sickening but am surprised that some who support baiting find this shocking.

This is why I don't like feeders and baiting. Remember, that deer didn't care/know if it was a boy or a grown man standing there. I'm guessing here but I bet come hunting season the dad is going to "hunt" the same way. He will probablyshoot a big buck and then beat his chest about what a great hunter he is.[:'(]
That's what happens to "free roaming deer" when you start feeding them like pets.
