Do these look like this years rubs. I think they do and I have seen a ton but I have yet to see many elk. I have onbly seen two cows walking away from me in a aspen grove?

Looks like this year to me. They might have rubbed over an old scrape, but if it was old those bark
shavings in the second picture should be gone.

I would say that they were definetly made this year. Like Lebeau said, maybe they rubbed an old rub from last year but they sure are freshened up. Hope you find whoever is making them. Good Luck
