I know for a fact that deer like mint snuff! I dropped a can and lost it allback when I chewed and long and behold thats how I got my very first buck back in 1996, he ate every last bit of it before I took him out, "hey thats my snuff!"

I don't think the deer mind at all, I use to dip cope for 10 years and they never paid any attention to the spit on the ground. Also got white patches in my mouth that could be pre-cancerous and quit 2 months ago, at age 26.
