Default Hunting with snuff

Does everyone that rubs snuff, do it when they are in stand or are u afraid of it giving a scent off. Yea before some of u start rollinin the commentsi know its a nasty habit but oh well lol.

i honestly cant remember a deer that i have killed in the last 10 years that i didn have a dip inmy mouth and a puddle of spit beside me

Well, my first deer I killed every I had a dip of copenhagen in. Get copenhagen pouches and Gut it.

also I hear that skoul wintergreen works well for a curiosty scent mint vanella or berry...

But I am a copenhagen man.

Ihad old ten pointer walk right under my stand after scent checking the wind(he was 10yds away)and it didnt bother him one bit...I dont chew regulary, but I like to relax and enjoy being in the woodswith my chaaaww.. LOL

They dont mind it. I've had them come into 7 yards downwind and not give a darn. I had a young doe and a button buck come to the tree I was in and lick the ground where I had spit. They didnt spook and they didnt run off. So atleast where I hunt I KNOW it does not bother them.

I have never ran into a problem with deer getting spooked off cause they couls smell my chew. I gut my spit but I have thrown a chew out on the ground and have had deer come up and lick it just to see what it is

this is the first year I have used a bottle to spit in instead of on the ground...after 20 long years!!! I have seen less deer this year!!!!!!!!!!! especially good bucks![:@]

I've seen many threads like this go around and they all will say the same thing.

1)You have guys that chew on stand and say they've never seen a negative reaction to chew spit and deer

2)You have guys that won't/don't chew that say they won't chance it.

Nothing really in between. ha, ha
