young buck tall rack

Not a very good video but the second deer I got on video is about 300 yards and I had it zoomed as far as I could and was free handing it,that is why it is a little shaky but look how tall this young buck is.
We definatley have some tall rack genetics on this farm.I saw a 140" tall rack 2 years ago on the other side of this farm.
If everyone were letting these grow here,we would have some great deer but that isn't my choice to make for them.
The first deer is a 2 1/2 year old I believe and is a wider deer with ALOT of potential but I was laying in the woods trying to zoom in on him and kept getting focused on the leaves in front of me.While I was trying to get on him, there were 2 deer sneaking up beside me at about 30 yards [&:],they saw me first.[

MAN,I would love a good camera.

Nice job anyway, always fun to get out there and film them. We have the same problem in my area. Lot of young deer just don't have the opportunity to reach maturity. There is an effort amoungst the locals to start a little quality management the last couple of years. Things are looking up. I saw my best deer the other night with the wife and kids. A very nice 8 with about an 17-18 inch spread. Good tine length, at 300 plus yards I guess he might hit 120".

cool vid.
