I'm 33, started aroun 10-11 shooting a little glass longbow, then jumped up to a recurve, then compounds. I've never been a year round shooter type. Only in the last few years have I even gone to about a 6 months a year shooter.

1968 when I was ten. It was a 32# Ben Pearson recurve made of laminated wood with a fiberglass skin. Used it for rabbits behind the house.Then a 45# glass long bow.Then a Jennings 60# compound.
Then a Excalibur 220# crossbow. So lets see 39 years.

I have had a bow for as long as I can remember. I started serious bowhunting in 1962.

I got into it seriously in 1999

I got my first bow when I was 11, a Bear - bear cub it had 30lbs ofdraw weight. Been shooting for 19 yrs now.
