can you take pictures of the bulge? I would think a competant welder could probably fix it.

FWIW, i'm going to junk the stand. Talked to my uncle and he has a new summit viper he said he didn't mind if I used until I could save up the money to buy me a nice stand. Thanks for the help guys.
