I hunt with my sleeves pushed up all the time. I don't move quickly or enough more them to really alert animals.

When its 90+ degrees in September, a long sleeve shirt is uncomfortable.

Get someone to take a photo of you sometime, Dan....with your hands/face exposed and your sleeves rolled up

Jeff, I understand. The whole "break up the outline" idea gets blown out the window. I don't care a whole lot in September. In September I'm mainly out there to enjoy myself and watch the wildlife. If a deer I want to shoot comes in, I'll shoot it. I've had plenty of deer walk by my stands while I'm hunting with my sleeves pushed up. Motion is what gets you, not just having your white arms exposed.

I get serious in November.

I would wear long sleeves no matter what color my skin was. Because it breaks up a solid pattern, and to keepskeeters, horse flys, bugs in general, and pioson ivy/oak off of me. Deer dont see regular colors like humans see colors,we see in trichromatic colors. Deer see in dichromatic colors, or like sepia tones, yellow and blue tints so it wouldnt really matter what color your skin was.

Never deer, but hogs I will. Hogs dont see for crap, but I wont chance it with a deer, especially on the ground.

Nope. Always long sleeves.

Word.
I think yall would wear long sleeves if your heat index was 115 degrees. I wear short sleeves in the summer, yes.

Don't you sweat and give away your position? I would opt for the short sleeve in that environment, because scent is a bigger factor than outline.
