Default Acorn Rage??

Hey I was recently in my local sporting goods store and saw the product that a lot of people around here have been hyping, "Acorn Rage." Has anyone acutally used the product and what were your results? It says its 100% pure acorns wether or not that is the case, I was curious on if it worked.

why not just hunt by the white oak tree that is dropping?? when your in the right spot, on the food source the deer are keying in on, its better than baiting. sitting in an orchard last season i almost felt a little guilty..it seemed to easy...sit there and wait for the one thats hungry for an apple...but when you got a white oak droppin hard, thats the place to be

Like the others stated, just hunt the oaks. Here in Virginia, white oak acorns are THE #1 food for deer when dropping. When the acorns are dropping, that's where they'll be. I hunt the highest elevation points first and work to the bottoms from there.20 or so feet in elevation can mean one particular tree dropping a couple days before another. They also tend to eat there way out from the bedding areas. They eat every white oak acorn they can find, leaving the red oak acorns behind. The red oaks go when they white oaks have been depleated and devoured. All the white oak acorns in my yard get eaten within the same two week window every year, in the end of November. They certainly have a patteren to their feeding. Nothing scientific here, just my observations.

I think acorn rage would be a good product in the late season once most of the acorns have been ate. Might be something worth trying in December.

I'm betting that the Acorn Rage would be good to mix with corn for those of you who can atually feed deer. It's got to have an attractive smell and flavor.
