That is such a drastic increase the only thing I could find to make me believe it was the same deer was the scar. Hes a monster, more than worthy of an arrow. Depending on age....would you let him go another year. Because you know if you shoot him now, you'll be wondering what he would look like next year.......I'd blast em.

When a deer has plenty of food and can age great things can happen. Like his system now focused on antler growth instead of body growth.
Where deer are stressed for food their system is focused on body growth.
This shows 1 Location theroy is 100% correct and 2 given a chance a whitetail can grow a lot of bone in a year under the right conditions

Great photos Michael, I wounder if the cactusing at the basis is from the Hunsucker war wound? Im sure glad humans dont get knots on their heads every time they get hurt, I would have to have special hats made for mine!
I watched 2 bucks in kansas go from Buttons the first year, to basket 6pt their second, to 130 class Bucks at 2 1/2 years old.
